Early in my career, I discovered that small structural changes could make a big difference. Moving a doorway, removing a wall, adding smart storage… Subtle adjustments, handled with care, can quietly restore a sense of flow and calm we often don’t realise is missing.

We needed some inspiration on how to redecorate our living/dining room and hall, and contacted Natalia. Having sounded out our preferences, Natalia designed a complete transformation of our living space. She made our life easy by managing the project, coordinating, and overseeing the work and deliveries. Deciding to work with Natalia was one of the best decisions my husband and I have made.

Our project was to launch a new high street Beauty and Day Spa business that was different and stood out on the high street. Our brand name was Idyllic Beauty & Day Spa and we commissioned Natalia Barbour Design to work with us on the design of the salon to meet our clear but challenging brief. Natalia grasped the vision for our business extremely quickly, and worked exceptionally hard with her team to design something that would be “an idyllic retreat from a busy world” and would be the fresh new brand on the high street that stood out from the competition. The salon has received universal acclaim from our clients, who say that the salon is the best that they have experienced. Not only did Natalia do an excellent job on the actual design of the salon to the very smallest level of detail, but she also project managed the transformation of the premises over 3 months, coordinating all of the trades and arranging procurement of fixtures, fittings, decoration, flooring and furniture. We are delighted with the end product, which has exceeded our expectations.
